I've been visiting my friend's house for several years. We had no idea at the time that we would eventually live here. I recently placed this photo of my grandgirlee in the corner of the kitchen counter. 
As I was looking at the photo this a.m. I remembered back to the day it was taken over 3 years ago. Eldest and her family were here (can't say "in town" because we're not "in town") for son's wedding. We came over to our friends' house for a little fishing. Grandgirlee was having a blast fishing with her Pop and her Daddy and her Mommy. She was so excited that shortly after this pic was taken she threw her pole in the water at the fishie! It's a grand memory. 
And here's a photo of grandgirlee at our old house, the one we haven't sold yet. Oh my! Romeo was so little as was grandgirlee!!!
She's now 3 years older and oh so grown up. In fact, she told her Mommy just the other day "... I already know everything because I am in Kindergarten!" Well... there ya go.

Oh, I giggled and thought about my little one!!! She probably wouldn't throw the pole in the water anymore, she would probably give Poppy some long, drqn out reasoning of why she was too tired to hold it! But I bet it looks GREAT in the corner of the kitchen! Now you have to tell the story to EVERYONE who passes it!

Your photos brought back memories of fishing at our pond on the farm. Xanti's Mickey Mouse bobber eventually ended at the bottom of that pond!
