Shave and a Haircut... two bits???

Poor trees!

photo: google
Okay, I know that our area has had several very bad ice storms in the past few years.

photo: US Dept of Health & Human Services
Hundred$ of thousand$ if not a few million dollar$
has been spent to restore power
when trees have damaged power lines.
  But really, is this necessary?

What I'd really like to know is,
why can't we join the 21st Century
and go underground?
You know we're going to have another storm eventually!!!

You can see where the homeowner
begged the tree trimmers to save the tree:

Hey there... you're next:
Sorry I didn't get my car out of the shot, I stopped though!

Tea for Two 1987

Tea for Two
1987

It started with her drinking all of my tea,
After pouring a cup intended for me.

I'd turn for a moment with something to do
And Lindsey would sip it before I was through.

I never would get to finish my cup,
Frustrated and worn out, I almost gave up.

Then just today, I poured her her own.
We'll have a tea party as if she were grown.

Even though Lindsey isn't' quite two,
She gets her own cup-- (and I get mine too!)

Pet Peeve

Do you notice anything missing on this key fob?

Anything?

The stinkin' key!!!!!!

This car had a push-button start!

This was my rental car last weekend when I went to NY.
It was so disconcerting to get into the car and try to figure out what to do with the stupid fob after getting in.
I was SOOOOoooooo afraid I was going to lose the fob.

Ugh, ugh ugh.
I do not mean to offend any who love this option, but it drove me BONKERS and I griped EVERY single time I got in the car.

It was WRONG!

Phew, I'm glad I got THAT off my chest.

What annoys you?

PS: In case you were wondering, it was a Nissan Altima
